Bus from Calgary

This bus is being sponsored by the Foothills Lutheran youth group, and if the bus is full, the shared cost would be $150/person. It’s unlikely the bus will be full, but we will still ask for just a “suggested donation” of $150/person. This can be paid by cheque to Foothills Lutheran Church, with “youth gathering travel fund” on the memo line and cheques can be brought with you to meet the bus.

If you want to sleep over at the church the night before, plan to arrive at the church between 7 and 9 pm on the 26th. Bring a quick, easy breakfast! The bus will depart from the church by 5:45 am, so if you are not sleeping over, you must arrive by 5:30 am on June 27.

If you want to sleep over at the church after we get back very late on the 30th / possibly in the early hours of the morning on July 1, please plan to have your youth picked up from the church by 9 am on July 1.

If you want to bring air mattresses for sleeping on the church floor, you may store them in the youth room while we’re in BC.

The bus will make a couple of stops along the way, so bring spending money for meals, but also feel free to bring lots of snacks.
